Publications
As I have progressed in my career, I have assisted in writing research papers that have been published by universities and academic journals. Below is a selection of works that span from healthcare worker burnout to sentiments around artificial intelligence.
Perception of Support, Communication, and Burnout
Cross-Sectional Analysis of a National Survey of Veterans Administration Safety Professionals
As the second author, I contributed to a VA-wide cross-sectional study analyzing burnout among 212 patient safety professionals. Our findings demonstrated that strong organizational support, specifically from the National Center for Patient Safety (NCPS), was significantly associated with lower burnout across all dimensions (P<.001). This work emphasizes that addressing logistical and bureaucratic communication barriers is essential for improving staff well-being and patient safety program effectiveness.
2024 Ethical Marketing Survey: Expectations and Concerns in the Face of Modern Marketing
As a Market Research Intern at KRC Research, I collaborated with Washington State University on a major national study (N=1,000) on AI, ethical marketing, and mis/disinformation. I was specifically responsible for deriving key insights by various demographic segments (e.g., age, gender, AI usage), such as that men are significantly more trusting of data collection practices than women (37% vs. 24% find the data collected about them to be acceptable). My findings served to inform and shape the final published report.
